Manchester United have opened talks over a deal to sign midfielder Phillipe Coutinho from Barcelona, according to reports.
The Brazil international has struggled to impress since his move to the Camp Nou after quiting Liverpool in January.
The 26-year-old has scored five goals and provided four assists in all competitions under Coach Ernesto Valverde.
And According to Caught Offiside, United have made an enquiry about Coutinho's availability.
Caught Offiside claim the Red Devils have opened talks in hope of beating Chelsea, Manchester City and PSG to the playmaker.
It remains to be seen whether Coutinho will leave La Liga, however, United want to be first in line if the ex-Liverpool star chooses to do so.
